january 8, 2016 the Torah sages write about the correlation between the tribe of benyamin and the month of kislev. in this composition, a bow and arrow, the astrological symbol of the month of kislev, is featured behind a wolf – the tribe’s mascot. nevertheless, the descendants of benyamin were glorified not only for their art of archery. the most well-known representatives of the tribe were mordechai and esther. here one can discern the story of purim reflected in the image of the moon half-hidden by a festive mask. |
